Wilshire & Bale secure top honours

Sunday 17th April seen the annual prestigious awards night for the Professional Footballers’ Association held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

Judicare, along with other business partners of the PFA including Virgin, Barclays, and Blackberry were invited to attend the event in recognition of their support and on going commitments to the Association.

Throughout the season the players and managers of all of the league clubs are balloted for their opinions on the best players within their respective divisions and the annual showpiece in London allows the players and managers of all of the leagues the opportunity to meet to honour those individuals.

Judicare’s CEO Neil Heaney is no stranger to the awards event and was fortunate enough throughout his career to be named within one of the divisional awards’ teams
of the season.

“It’s a great event and one which affords the players within their respective leagues the chance to vote for the players who have performed the best within any given season from an opponents perspective, the highest accolade one can really achieve as it’s voted for by your colleagues” said Heaney.

Heaney said – “For an ex-pro it is also a fantastic chance to catch up with old playing colleagues and relive some memories from the past, both good and bad, and to talk about what directions they have taken since hanging-up their boots!”

This year’s main awards went to Jack Wilshire of Arsenal and Gareth Bale of Tottenham Hotspur who collected the PFA’s Young Player of the Year and PFA’s Players Player of the Year awards respectively for their outstanding and meteoric achievements this past season.

The event was attended this year by Neil and the Chairman of the Judicare Group Mr. José Dorta.
